There is a currency that is relevant and respected in every geographical location. It is honored by all, it is admired by all. This currency is personally developed, and no person has the monopoly of developing it. However, the start point for developing this particular currency is personal decision. This currency is called INTEGRITY.

When you check-up other words for INTEGRITY, you will find ‘honesty’, ‘truthfulness’, ‘uprightness’ and ‘honour’. Indeed, integrity is the pathway to true honour. It is important we understand that ‘INTEGRITY’ and ‘REPUTATION’ are not the same thing.

While REPUTATION is what people think about you, INTEGRITY is who you really are. Interestingly, there are lots of people who are doing so much work to build a ‘reputation’, and they are doing nothing to build a life of integrity. The truth, people can be fooled for a while by your reputation, it is integrity that brings lifelong honour.

Dear friend, it is good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it’s good too, to check up once in a while and make sure you haven’t lost the things money can’t buy.

I like you to know that having a big name is good, but nothing compares to a having a good name.

To build a truly great life, let’s not allow our desires, eagerness and craving for material things cause us to lose the really important things of life. Nothing substitutes for GOOD NAME. Nothing can take the place of HNONOURABLE RELATIONSHIPS. Nothing can ever substitute for TRUSTWORTHINESS. Nothing should ever substitute for our MORALITY, UPRIGHTNESS and RELIABILITY.

Being manipulative, cunning or deceitful will no doubt get you somewhere and get you some things, but you will always be a loser at the end. Anyone who tries to climb up the ladder of life through deceit will always end up a gallant loser at the end.

Dear friend, I have no doubt this will be a great year for you, but you need to re-order your priorities. What are the things that truly matter to you? What do you really want to be remembered for?

I urge you today, embrace the path integrity and honour. Become a straightforward person. Become a person who will never get involved or associated with anything shady or dishonest, no matter what. Become a person whose words can be trusted at all times. Become a person whose support, conscience and principles cannot be bought with money. Refuse to be two-faced. Stand-up for what’s right.

Once again, I like you to always remember that while it may feel good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it’s a lot more important to constantly check-up once in a while and make sure you haven’t lost the things money cannot buy.
